well heres the problem...i bought my car with a viper alarm 550esp. everything works fine except whenever i arm/disarm the car the parking lights dont flash. i checked the wires and found the white wire unplugged.. which is supposed to be connected to the parking lights? http://directechs.com/guides/m...V.pdf
so where do i connect it to??? im not very good with alarms

 

It shows you how to connect it right on the bottom of page 9 or top of page 10, depending on what car you have - can you identify your car model & I'm sure someone can tell you exactly ideal location & colour wire to splice that wire to.

i have a 97 civic hatchback, ive tryed all the free pins on my fuse box andd the black/red wire in my kick panel, but i will try it again tomorrow.

i dont recall seeing a fuse connected to the white wire, but ill check that.

No, the fuse in the fuse panel that feeds the free spade terminal.
Check on the top of the fuse panel - there should be 4 male spade lugs - check with your meter for power on these:
one is Hot constant from battery, one is hot with ignition on, one with your lights on (this is the one you want!) and one with the key to ACC posn.
Connect the white wire with a spade terminal to the one that is hot when your light switch is on & you're gold!

thanks for da helppppp!! i fixed it, it was parklight fuse!

 

So if you connect the parking light wire from your alarm with a female spade connector to the male spade at the fuse box it will flash your lights when arming and disarming?

 

yep das exactly how my alarm works
