My girlfriend has a 99 Civic Si and its all stock stereo wise. I installed a short ram intake for her and at the same time I reset the car.

Any way when I un-hooked the battery and hooked it back up, her stock Honda deck shows a error message and asks for a code. Is there a default code or do we have to take the car to Honda? She bought the car used so Im hoping its not a code the origional owner put in.

The code is specific to that unit, pull the HU out go to a Honda dealer she must bring proof of ownership, take unit to service counter, they will use the serial number to look up the code, [most Honda/Acura dealers will do it for free] plug the HU back in and try the code before you leave the dealership.

How ever we were lucky. Going through the manual the pre owner wrote the code down in the book.
