Help with setting up car audio
Hey guys, I'm definitly new to this site & was wondering if yall could help me with this. I have a 2006 Civic Ex Coupe and I'm looking to find a new & install a new stereo system in it. As of now the speakers sound descent but I would like a little more power in my subwoofers. Can I get your suggestions? I'm looking for quality and power & just like everyone else, a cheap price is always a plus. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could help me out

If the system is stock now, start by replacing the stock HU.
There are lots of good and cheap HUs out there but you will not find a good HU that is cheap.
Your HU is the most important piece of your system, everything will depend on it, from control to SQ, so spend a little time getting the HU you want, stick with brand names, I recommend Alpine or Panasonic, if you want to use off board amp(s) and a sub, look for a HU that has pre amp outputs, sub gain control, sub phasing, and of coarse features you may want, [iPod control, or AUX input] stuff like that.
