If installing an amp you will need interconnect, [RCA cables] and proper power wire with fuse and fuse holder, and some amp control lead, [20ga wire].

You do not want tweeters behind you. 94

Why do some recommend me getting a 4 gauge wiring kit then? This is what they say I should get: http://www.knukonceptz.com/pro...-AK44

Will it be different if I get the 8 gauge kit, or even 20 like you suggested?

I said "proper power wire", you can use 8ga, if the power lead is going to be longer then 10-12 feet, use 4ga, but not that one, it uses set screws to connect power cable to the fuse holder, you want something you can use ring terminal on, something like this... http://www.scosche.com/efx.asp...PWFHI or this... http://cgi.ebay.com/AUDIOPIPE-...wItem then solder the ring terminals to the power cable and bolt them to the fuse holder, set screws are a poor way to connect a power lead. 94

Do you suggest any other wiring kits since you said don't use those. I don't want to buy anything separate from the kit. I just want to get the amp and the kit, that's it.

I was not fond of that amp kit. I see some people hyping it up. The rca look real flimsy and cheap. The fuse holder looks like the ones I can get for 3-4 bucks and did not hold the fuse well. The member ended up just using the wire and trashing everything ese. You get what you pay for.

I'm thinking about this Stinger 8 gauge kit: http://cgi.ebay.com/Stinger-HP...wItem

Will that one do me fine for my needs? I'm still open for any other suggestions; not over $50 though, sorry. Remember, I don't want to buy anything separate, just the kit and everything should work.

The 8ga kit is also a set screw type connection system, but with a crappy AGU fuse, if its a choice between the two get the 4ga kit, at least it has an ANL fuse. 94

To use a 4 channel amp, running the fronts and bridging the back for a sub, I would need a HU with at least 2 preamp outputs right?

It depends on how you want to set the system up. What about the back speakers? Run them off the headunit and amp the front. Yes you would need two pre outs. Front and sub. Most good headunits come front-rear-sub I don't know how you want to go

As I said, if it's a kit you want then the 4ga with the ANL fuse is the better one... http://www.knukonceptz.com/pro...-AK44

Although there would be an advantage having a HU with a sub output, [sub "volume" control] you only need one preamp, [RCAs] output to drive a 4 ch. amp in 3 ch. mode, most amps will have internal paralleling.

As mentioned, not hard to find a HU with sub out, and better HUs/brands will have up to 3 preamp outputs with one of them being a non fading, sub control output.

If you want to be able to adjust the subs output separately from the main volume you will need at least 2 sets of outputs, or a sub output, if you don't care and you just want to "set it and forget it" your HU only needs one set of outputs.

Alpine still makes a pretty good product.

$200 or lees will get you one of these... http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-e...tab=F
Another $30 and you get this... http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-e...-9883 94
