Default Head unit problems all of a sudden?

My h23 had a bunch of problems and I just had another motor (exact same h23, not a messed up one though...) put into my '94 Prelude. No electrical problems or anything afterwords... Everything works, except for my cd player is screwed up now. Seeing as how my car is a '94 and didn't come from the factory with a cd player, it's an aftermarket Pioneer Premier MOSFET 50wx4 unit (model DEH-P480)...

My am/fm picks up just like normal, but this morning I ejected a cd (it worked) and put in another cd expecting to listen to it. But the cd option didn't even come up, the cd didn't play, nothing. Nooow I can't get the cd to even eject, play, or even get the cd option to come up, it only cycles through am/fm1/fm2/fm3. I pulled it out of my center console, the harness is plugged in along with the one jack too. I didn't install the head unit, my uncle had done it before I bought the car.

I realize that this post got really drug out and sounded like such a damn n00b 1st or 2nd post on H-T.
Just trying to give as much info as possible, the cd player worked fine before I took it to the shop and now my cd (that I took out and put a new one in) doesn't work. I'm not sure wtf happened... The fuse where the harness plugs in is good (10A fuse) so I'm not sure what it is. All other functions work A O.K. but not the cd player, it doesn't work at all.
Anyone got any ideas?

No reset button, I've got it unplugged right now and out for the night, we'll see.

Also, the faceplate is removable and you have to push a button down to hit the eject button.
I hit the eject button and I can hear it wanting to eject, but it won't spit the cd out!?!?

ECX=the biggest n00b, ever.
I didn't try putting a cd in, and I could have SWORE I put that one in this morning and it got stock. expletive. I just took the cd player apart far enough so that the top cover was off, I turned a different cd upside (shiney side up so I could see it) and saw where it comes in and out. There is no other cd in there.
