Head Unit Mounting
I bought a kit for my 94-01 integra and i followed the instructions and it looks like ****. It doens't fit in there very well and it doens't even hold the deck in... you can just pull it out. When i had my deck in my old van the mount held the deck in with metal hook sort of things....
Can anyone recomend a good mountng kit that will hold my deck in place and look good?

No, I meant are you using the metal mounting cage that came with the radio with the kit? Did you bend the tabs down? Are the locking tabs on the sides of the cage bent inward so they lock into the radio??

Of all the cars, Honda/Acura has to have the best, [if not the easiest] back bracing setup, in fact I would be willing to bet that if properly back braced the HU would be rock solid in the dash even if you didn't bend any "tabs" on the sleeve, bent the "cage locks" open and snapped off every one of those plastic tabs, [not just the ones you are supposed to for the specific model of car it's going into, or the ones that were already gone] on that POS Scosche calls a kit.
Non-VTeg if you want a better looking kit, get the Metra 99-7892, [one-piece, bigger pocket and better texture to match dash]... http://www.metraonline.com/_as...2.pdf
