I prolly have to relocate the real hazard light switch...so if anyone knos how or what i need thatd be helpful too.

Also, i already got a fuel kill switch hidden, but im wantin more layers...so what should this new switch cut off?

I've read that already, Im looking for maybe a little more detail or suggestions on how I would do it for the hazard light switch and relocating it.

It has like 8 wires connected to the switch so any details on a) how to wire a kill switch into the hazard switch and b) what i need to do with the 8 wires to relocate the switch somewhere else.

To use the existing hazard switch as your kill swtich, you'll need to follow the directions in the FAQ.

To relocate the hazard switch, you'll need to get another switch and wiring plug (preferably with 6-8 inches of wire still attached to the plug).

Then, it's a simple matter of extending the wires that you cut up in the dash to wherever you decide to put the new hazard switch...

Hmm...i just thought up something else

...is there a way to wire the main switch (on/off) on the window controller in the 00 si to use as a kill switch?

im looking at the manual and it seems possible, but i was wonderin if one of the security gurus could take a look.

pg 23-223 in the manual

Yup. See above.

It doesn't matter what switch you use... Fvck... You could use the damn windshield washer for all I care. If it's a switch, then you can use it...

And I'm pretty sure that we've told you not to bump in here... This forum doesn't move that fast to necessitate a bump because your oh-so-important post hasn't received a reply after a few hours...

It is all possiable. Its up to if you can wire it. Nobody here can tell you if you can do it. How are your skills in wiring?

sorry bout the bump...juss spent some time on another forum tryin to sell some parts and i juss got into the habit

my wiring skills are alright as long as i know which wires i need to connect.

I was askin bout the window switch specifically cause i opened it up but couldnt get to the actual switch itself (guess its soldered into the board).

Cause i want to make it so the window switch circuit is constantly on so i can use the window controls and route the fuel cut off to the switch.

i kno its possible, thats not wat im askin...lookin more for a guide or help based off of anyone who may have seen it done...

Nobody can do write ups for every single type of switch on every single model of car. If we did, then the only real difference between each write up would be the wire colors. I wrote a very general DIY that you can use for just about anything. If you want to do something original, you're going to have to do a little bit of legwork yourself instead of following a cookie cutter model. If you get stuck along the way, tell us exactly what you did and we'll help.

ok...well im stuck

Im all setup to make the window switch into a kill switch...in that ive got the fuel line cut and have extended the wires out. they are temp juss twisted together so i can drive while i try and figure out the switch.

I've taken the main window controller out and have gotten down to the board. I dont know how to get teh board out to make the changes on the switch...it could be that the switches are soldered to the board and i wont beable to remove it unless i remove the solders or theres a way to pop the switchs out and slide the top off that i dont know about. If u understand wat im stuck at and can help please...otherwise ill post up some pictures later that will clarify everything.

Thats the first snag...the second snag i havnt run into yet...but i kno i will after i figure out how to take the board out. how do i make the circuit that the switch opens and closes on the board to stay open so i can still have the control of my windows?
