Hardware need'd for kill switch
I guess this falls under security, but, i know HOW to put a killswitch in on my EG, but i dont know is what spec's on the wire/switch/fuse/led. What im going to try and do is run an LED off my kill switch so i know if its on or off. I heard i need to run a 25amp fuse and switch, but not positive, also, what guage wire is best. And what specs on the LED do i need and do i need resisters too? THanks for the help fella's
What is needed is a 30 amp SPDT ( single pole double throw) relay
a regular switch ( a micro will do fine) a lil imagination and there you go.
Use a Bosche/ P&B relay..something with a very good build quality
because it will LAST!!! One of my cars immobilizer circuitry is well
over 10 years old and it still works flawlessly
Once you know how the relay works ( think of it as a switch ) then the world
is yours.

If you get this, you can do most anything
1- 1/4 amp SPST switch
2- 20/30 amp 12v DPDT relay,[may be easier to get 4PDT relay]
3- 12v flashing or nonflashing LED
I don't see a need for fuse, as anything you are "killing" will be fused.

I am putting a switch in the postive wire of the fuel pump. Im talking about the fuel pump fuse because i am adding a led to the circuit. And how would i wire in the relay.
