Is it hard to install a second battery in the trunk?
Current set-up 97 hatch:
Alpine 7894 HU
MB Quart QSD 6.5 in front
Alpine Type-R 6x9 rear
Alpine Type-R dvc 12'' ported enclosure
Kicker KX 600.4 (4 guage wire)
JBL BP600.1(4 guage wire)
I spend allot of time chilling in my car listening to music, how hard is it and what is involved in mounting a second battery in the trunk,so I can listen to music without worrying about a dead battery?

It's pretty straightforward. Other than the second battery and more 4 gauge wire, you'll need an isolator or hi-amperage relay (http://www.stingerelectronics.com/st...ccessories.asp). Stinger provides instructions for their relays. If you go the isolator route, it typically is connected to your alternator as well as your batteries. What ever product you buy, it should come with detailed instructions. Also, check out the products from Lightning Audio. As for a good second battery....look into a deep-cycle type (yellow top Optima).
