Default Hands OFF!

I own a 4 door gsr, and my car has been broken in 3 times. Twice in one week. During a thuderstorm, they broke in it (the 4 dr's window are easy to pry) but could not start my engine. Because it is a 2000 model, it has a chip sensor ignition, I assume tats y they couldnt start it, either tat or they are amateurs. My whole steering column was damaged, and my siren was cut. I didnt get it fixed right away, so 2 days later, they came back and stole my front kit and all my interior accessories. I want to know if a back up siren would scare them off next time, rather then allowing them to have time n strip it , and could they steal my car even though the car dealer said tat my engine will not start w/o a chip?

Get yourself a backup battery and have the alarm installer wire up a horn honk option.

there's also a built in batteries for sirens.so if they cut the wire it would still go off.

manuel hood lock, dual sirens(1 in engine bay, 1 in car), back up alarm battery and a pager would be a good idea.

Watch out during thunderstorms/rainy nights, they are a favorite time for thieves. Less people out and alarms go off during t-storms.
