Default H/U Stop Working

i have alpine h/u and i got it a week ago so today i was amping my interior speakers and the radio worked fine i went and put it back in and then it wouldnt turn on... and my clock looked like it dimed alot so i just went back to CC thinking it was the radio they pluged it in over there and it worked fine so i came back home and tryed it again and it still dunt work its not the fuse becuase my cig lighter still works and i changed it what could it be i was thinking the ground but i cant find it

id check all your fuses. i had that prob. too. touch the accesory wire (yellow) and the power(red) together. it should turn on even if you have blown fuse. thats what i did till i figured out which fuse it was.

my cig. was still workin even though i had a blown fuse. you should just have a radio fuse. if they're all good then you have a bad ground. you could have charged your ground when you were messin with the wires. its the black wire on the harness. just follow it till it stops then find a new spot thats bare metal. you should be good if you do all that

oh yea...sometimes there are inline fuses on the accessory and the power check those too
