I would say 9807 (i think its a 'lil better than the 7995) I have the 9813 & couldn't be happier. BTW you might wanna ask a mod to move to audio security forum

 

when i looked quick at them, they honestly looked the same


go with whichever one is cheaper

 

Id go with the pre out only deck. no sense getting an onboard amplifier ( assuming all of your speaks are going to be run off amps...)

 

9807 because it does WMA.... but who the hell uses those? LOL. Just go for the one you can get for less, both are awsome decks.

Oh, and in the picture of the 9807, i see the tuner shows 98.50 or whatever... do alpines now do europe tuning also?

the 7995 has a motorized face, If that matters to you. I have the 7995 and it's great, I don't think that the other one has time correction and built in crossovers, but I don't know Go for the 7995

 

the 7995 won't run without an seperate amp.

also i heard the 03 alpines doesn't have the DC/DC converter anymore. dunno about the higher line though.
