Default GPS Tracking

I'm interested in purchasing a GPS tracker for my car. I was looking into the ones that track over cell towers. I saw one on this forum it uses Elitetrak, has anyone used this? The link is below, I know the best is lo-jack but i can't afford that right now, if you have any other ones you would recommend please let me know. Thanks

Does not have a back up power supply so it gets a big thumbs down from me.
