i'm in the same boat as you bud. I'm looking to put a system in the 5th gen also.

 

1 10 or 12 inch sub
if u want more bass then 2 10 or 12 inch subs

Depending on what you guys are after as far as bass. My friend drives a 2000 Accord Sedan, and the 1 10" Alumapro Alchemy is the cleanest thing I've heard so far. It hits good, yet retains phenomenol sound quality. If you don't think it's enough, a pair of 10's should do, but any more than that would be over kill. WHat are you guys after?
just a little low end fill? > get a single 10" or 12"
tight bass response but somewhat loud? > two 10" subs in a sealed box
or pounding bass? > two 12" subs or a 15" sub.

 

I recommend 1 12". Something like an Image Dynamcis IDMAX12 or possibly a JL 12w7.
