Default Good Strong Mids

I purchased a Crystal 6 1/2" component set about a year for my 94 GSR. Those and the rear 6 1/2" are hooked up to a Sony 75*4 amp. Well the left door mid blew out already, piece of ****. I thought these things could take some power but obviously not. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a mid that can take some power without blowing??

Where did you set your high pass crossover at? Full range at 100 watts could blow most midbasses/midranges in a door.
