Default Fuse for theives

Could I pull an engine fuse to prevent theives from getting my car? If so can you tell me which one? I also have a aftermarket alarm so I don't want the fuse to disable it. Thanks any help would be appreciated.

The backup fuse under the hood(7.5 amps from memory) will disable the ecu.

Yeah it is. It is labeled "backup"

It is to the rear of the box, close to the firewall under the hood.

When you reset the Ecu, it goes back to it's factory settings and you are supposed to let the car run for 5 minutes before driving while the ECU is learning the new settings.
If you just put the fuse back in and drive away it will learn different settings from if you let it idle for 5 minutes like you are supposed to.
This might do nothing, or it may make your car run funny and have increased fuel consumption.
