Default FUSE HELP

i hooked up my subwoofers today and i put the fuse in the trunk by the subwoofer....am i supposed to put it by the battery up in the engine bay?? if so how bad is it for me to keep it in the trunk...bceause its kindof a bitch to change now.

It's extremely bad to fuse in the trunk.

It needs to be 12 inches or less from the battery.

If it's a bitch to change now, think of how much of a bitch it would be if your car catches fire.

regardless of how much of a bitch it is i would add a fuse under teh hood right next to the battery. its pretty dangerous to have unfused wire running through your car.

why is it a bitch though? can you not just splice in a fuse under the hood?
