Default Frequency Cutoff

I was wondering what the frequency cutoff for my subs and my highs should be.. 50 hz? 63? 80? 100?

Isolate the sound coming out of the speaker you're adjusting ie, if you're adjusting a sub, you don't want to hear the mids and tweeters. Turn the volume up a bit. Turn the freq **** all the way down until you hear basically nothing coming out of the speaker. Now gradually turn it up and note when you can hear different instruments coming in. For instance on the sub, you'll hear the bass drum immediately. Keep turning it until you hear the bass guitar. Now dial it in until you hear only the bassy portion of the bass guitar (somewhere around 80). String and plucking sounds should be handled by your mids. Now whatever frequency you reach when you're finished tuning is going to be the lower cut off point for your mids (give or take some overlap). The cut off points for your mids and tweeters is going to be determined by what they can handle. Look up their specs on the manufacturers website.
