I installed a keyless entry system on my car a couple days ago. I left an extra wire tapped into the lock wire to trigger a relay later. I have (2) 12v 30a relays but I'm guessing I'll just need to use one. My question is where do I tap into a wire to get the parking lights to flash when I press lock? And if anyone can give me a quick rundown on what each spot on the relay does that would help to. It's in a 90 CRX if you need to know that. Thanks

 

accesory in the fuse box... there shoudl be one where it works along with it.. just have to turn your headlight on and use a testlight

 

Give voltage to one of the fuses? That does not sound right?

 

the fuses simply act as an intermediary between the battery and your load - if the load pulls more power than it needs it cuts out.

If you cut (edit) the wire before, or after the fuse to insert your power to turn on and off the accessory momentarily the fuses will still be getting power.

If you make a mistake - fuse blows :D
