Default Fiberglass sub box making

I'm making a fiberglass sub box to fit in my back seat. it needs to hold 2 pretty powerful 12s and I'm not sure how thick of fiberglass layer I need.

I'd say a quarter to a half inch should be sufficient.

if you have to make a fiberglass box 1/2" thick for a couple of 12's, then you are not designing your boxes correctly

Do you know what a paradox is?

As for your question, 7 layers should be more than enough.

Why are you putting a box in your back seat? And I would invest in another brand than the xplods, thats exactly what they're good for.

I'm still stumped on why you would put it in the back seat? Why not remove the back seat or put it in the trunk.

As for Unique Whips, lets see, an owner/boss that's an *******, that seems to have nothing better to do the give his installers a hard time and who's idea of a good install is, as long as the trim looks good it's a good install, I can not believe he gets away with charging what he does, I mean $600 US for a sub box that has no bracing made from 3/4" MDF brad nailed together, with 2 JL Audio 12W6v2s, yea it had a nice genuine leather trim cover, but give me a break $600 94
