Default factory stereo code

i am putting the stock radio in my 98 accord lx 2dr and i cant listen to cds or the radio; i guess it needs some code? does anyone know what this code is or what it might be? thanks for the help.

Take the serial number and model number (and sometimes VIN) to your dealer and they can get you the code.

If you pull out the radio yourself, there's no charge. On some cars, like the 01 Civic, you can hold 1&6, power up the radio, and it will tell you the serial number. They also need your VIN and ID from the person whose name is on the title.
