Default EQ question?

I was wondering which is better the digital or the ****/slidder eq? I currently have the pioneer digital eq that looks just like a regular deck and its a pain to tune it. A friend of mine told me to get a eq that u can adjust it by turning the konbs or slidders on it and that this kind is better. Is this true?

i would imagine the digital stuff would be easier since usally you can save your settings. of course the ****/slider stuff would be quicker to adjust

Better in what way. You will get let less distortion and phase shift with digital filtering then analog filtering, genrally there are always exceptions.
