electrical problem
So today I took out my stock CD player, then twisted together the harness for my pioneer 6500 deck and the harness that plugs into the car. Went out and plugged it in to test it, everything seems fine. Go in the garage and solder the harness that I had twisted. Go hook it up again and no power to the deck....or the door chimes, or remore entry. I'm sure there is some other stuff thats not working. So I plugged the stock cd player back in with the same results. Nothing works. I tried to test the 12V constant in the harness to the HU and it doesn't seem to be getting any power.
What did i break? I checked all the fuses it could be. I hope it's warrantied. I just picked up the car a week ago. I mean, kinda seems like it's my fault since it happened when i was messing with the wiring...but then again i was using a harness made for the car and was careful not to damage anything.

I checked some fuses like the acc/radio one under the dash, and the power door locks on under the hood (since my remote entry didn't work).
I'm gonna go out there now and pull every single fuse and put a continuity tester to them one by one.

Why would the "backup" fuse under the hood run the radio??
I didnt check it at first because i assumed it was just the reverse lights.
Oh well, all fixed and i like the pioneer 6500...
