is it easy to put in a new deck?
my girlfriend want a cd player in her cavalier and i have a pioneer from my brothers pontiac and she asked my if i could install it. she said since i put a turbo on my car that the deck should be tit. is it? or is there anyway to get instructions for her car somewhere? thanks
hmm.. instead of cutting up the harness connected to the car stereo.. go buy the plug-in adaptor.. then just connect wires from stereo to adaptor by color matching.. etc.. then plug adaptor into stock harness. .. plug in power.. and mount the deck.. pretty simple dude. hahaha.. so dude.. tell me how you put in a turbo?? lolz.. j/k

What year Cavalier? If it is the newer style (late 90s and newer) it is a pain. You have to pull off the entire top of the dash. All together it is about twenty bolts/screws but it is alot of work if you have never done it. A person familiar with the car can have it done in around 35 minutes, otherwise, plan on it taking a long day. Good luck, if you have any questions. let me know. I have done dozens of them.
