It's spelled "Dynamat." Normally, it isn't cheap... though the alternatives to it such as Brown Bread or some generic products are as good at a better price. You'll find tons of information on "sound deadening" if you do a search. Ebay has some stuff too.
go to circuit city. it looked to me as if they are replacing their dynamat with the tsunami stuff (scoche).. and it's going for what looks like half price now
i can get you dynamat at a VERY good price email me at h22akrd@yahoo.com, and well work something out.

wow, thanks for the info, i found some real cheap stuff out there
i found some Brown Bread for 50 bucks at 10.5 sq ft. would that be enough to do my trunk AND back speaker panel? (or am i tryin to stretch my dollar just a little TOO much?

i always say you get what you pay for, its your maoney and all. that is the same thing that i did, but imo i thought the other stuff, brown bread, rammat ,roadkill was not as good as the dynamat. just my thoughts

Yes sound deadening is worth every penny....Dynamat is not on the other hand....I personally use and prefer Raammat to Dynamat. JMO, but in all seriousness....the only real characteristics that matter is that the mat sticks well, and has a high density. It's also nice if it conforms easily, doesn't smell, and is easy to cut....past that, it's all the same...for straight mass loaders, there is no voodoo magic working that makes one mat better then the next.
