Do your Amps get HOT???
I was driving along and my bass cut out, I figured the fuse blew or something but when I went to check it was fine. and just jiggled the amp and it came back on.
I noticed that BOTH my amps were hot as all hell.
Is this normal?? maybe I'll slap some little 12V computer fans on to cool, but if this isn't normal I'll check and re-do my wiring...
ALL feedback welcome.

well I have a Sony CDx600 (or 610) Head unit. That's hooked up to a Sony 4Ch Amp that is powering my front and rear 3 way (sony again) speakers. That NEVER gave me any trouble and I never really noticed if it got too hot.
That head unit has a separate output for a sub. I ran this to a Jensen Amp
I have it Bridged pushing a 10" sub (can't remember the brand but its a decent one - great sound).
- EDIT -
I do remember having looked up data on the sub when I first got it and believe its rated up to like 1000w, and I vaguely remember the RMS rating, believe it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 800w but don't quote me.
Before power gets to the Amps I have a 1 Farad cap and a fuse block. I will admit that the wiring is a little shoddy, I don't have a garage and when I wired up the Cap, Fuse block and Jensen I did it in the rain tucking myself in the car with insufficient wire, hence there are splices.
My thoughts before I read your reply was that it could be due to an insufficient ground.... but I'm more than willing to look into the Ohm side of things, eventhough I'm more than unfamiliar with that stuff.
