Default DIN Gauge Install

I have a 00 Em1 I am trying to put a set of gauges into the audio console and I was just curious if a DIN Sized block off plate would fit the gauges, I have searched for pics but have not found anything. Thanks in advance

I don't really get your question? Are you asking if the factory radio in an EM1 is din-sized?

Not necessarily, I am trying to figure out with an aftermarket stereo in will there be enough room to put the DIN block plat in as well ast he gauges. Here is a pic of what I am talking about. I want to put the gauges in that pocket area under the radio, but i am just not sure if it will fit.

Yes. The opening in the dash is a double DIN. 2 1/16" gauges will fit nicely.

Are you running the stock deck or an aftermarket unit?

If you're using a dash kit, depending on the gauge panel you choose, you may need to ISO mount the Pioneer and ISO mount the gauges...

Let us know which panel you're getting and we'll figure out how to mount it the best & most secure way.

Some of the ones that I have been looking at are angled, and some are flat but here are the two that i am looking at.

Go with the top one... Looks like it'll give you the brackets needed to install it quite securely in an ISO mount fashion.

I got the triple angled unit off ebay:

I like that the holder is angled BUT the metal is thin, the mounts had to be removed and to keep the holder in place it's JB welded in.... Overall I'm happy but it's a bit permanent so I'd say with the units you've pictured to go with the first one, it looks better designed...
