well ive done a little searching and this seems like something not many people have messed around with, does anybody have an in-dash computer?? "carputer"... im trying to set one up.

has anyone heard of an indash dvd/gps system with outputs such as VGA/HDMI? i want to be able to either build a computer to put in the car for music / videos / pictures / GPS , possibly internet. or have a netbook that can easily plug in an out of the dash system for use.

anybody have any info on any of this??

 

You could just buy a laptop.


If you want to be cheap about it you could get a tower and a touchscreen that you put in the dash with vga and a power inverter and wala.
