custom alarm
im thinking about adding my own custom alarm to my 00 accord. was talkin to a few of my honda friends i meet with every weekend and came up with a few ideas.
1. i want to put like 2-3 small *** cameras. like the (fiberoptic looking ones) and have them spaced out right so that the can view almost any part of the cars outside.... id have them all run to a small custom Harddrive that id use to record the footage 24/7.
2. to customize my alarm to buzz my keyless entry unit in my pocket... if possible.
is this possible at all? im good with electronics, programming, and all that. but not sure how i could tie that in with the cars standard alarm already. plz hit this up. make me feel dumb lol. peaz.

Your asking for a lot but possible. I would try to use what's already available. You can find imaging software online. You would only want to capture data when your camera's sensed motion.
Well it is possible for sure if you have the $$ for it lol
i'd use one of thoes logitech webcams that starts recording when there is movement.
the only thing you would need for the computer system that is recording the video is a ground trigger to the alarm when it starts recording so that you get your pager to page you.
or you could use a proxy sensor to determine when to start recording ... dei makes a great one.
