Default Connection Problem?

aite well ima probably get new speakers and head unit... but most likely gonna keep 1 pair of speakers stock... well just figured i might as well fix the 1s i hav now for pratice and to get around untill i get a GOOD deal...

aite well here is my problem... the stereo system is stock from a 90 integ (yes Fing OLD!!!)

this has been like this since we bought it a long *** time ago... i just got this car... and well the speaker hav a problem when u start the headunit u start it u hav to turn it low hold for a few secs and then turn the **** up to start the speakers... i am around 90% sure is the connectors cuse some speakers dont work then sometiems it doesnt work at all... soo annoying... wat should i look for when i check the headunit and the speakers and how can i fix it and wat will i need to do it?!?... (and i am pretty sure that the speakers r working cuse have heard them many times play together and i hav heard each speaker play sometimes not together but still)

The problem is in the HU , there are cold solder joints ,or broken ones, where the power/speaker plug is connected to the pc board ,

Its an easy fix if you have a soldering station,and can solder.

thank you very much i kinda know wat ur talkin bout only ... 1 problem though i dont hav a soldering station... so i am still thinkin wat i can do ... mayb pay some guy but i hate stupid places that can do it cuse they always suck *** and dont do **** and charge like craZie

also wat can i use to soldered it back ...?

You can get a solder "pencel" kit at radio shack for about $10.00, handy to have around. 94
