just got the compustar
CompuStar 2W900FMR installed on my car
whats yout opinions on it? So far I must say I love the range and the 2 way pager is very nice to have

I am a vender, And I agree with the above. An it more like *****. Turn around time to get something really simple fixed and what was it nsx like a month

Good unit, very dependable, I have heard about service problems in the states, up here, if there is a problem, we replace the unit, [or defective part] right away, there is no waiting for repairs.
BTW 2W900FMR is the model number of the remote not the alarm.

Those two words would never be put together in my head.
And it was more like 2 1/2 months.
You should see my pain trying to get an extra key for my RR. The dealer doesn't even know that the key contains a transponder chip. Or that the transponder can be programmed. There answer is to buy another $250 key. If you cant count on the dealer to perform a simple task I think I am screwed if anything major goes wrong. They'll just tell me to buy a new car to fix the problem
