Default compustar gone to ****??

ok so last week i went thru a metal detector and somehow my remote got fucked... well i got a new remote and then today *exactly one week later* my new remote starts freaking out and i pull the battery and quickly replace it. the remote then wouldnt even respond, and my alarm wont arm.. i took it to a compustar dealer and they couldnt get the remote to reprogram to my car.. we also replaced the antennae and still nothing. i can hear the relays clicking, which im told indicates that the remote is programming but isnt responding to the car ... i have no idea whats going on so if any wiring gurus could help that would be appreciated thanks a lot

Forgot to mention when we try to reprogram the remotes all they do is flash the anntenae symbol and then once you hit a button it flashes all the icons and then beeps and thats it..

You might want to pull the brain out and send it in. Sounds like there is a internal problem. The shop that you took it to should of been done this. But you might have to have bought it from them.

First, what model of Compustar, and what model of remote, here are the remotes....
http://www.compustar.com/support_C.htm
Here are the units.....
http://www.compustar.com/products.htm

If you do not see the unit here, look on the brain for a model number, normally CM ****
Also where did you get it, and who installed it?

I have never heard of a remote going bad by going through a metal detector. 94
