I just installed my compustar 2wfm900-as system. Everything worked amazing on days 1 and 2. Now today after a 3 hour car ride I get out to lock my doors and the screen is all messed up. Like half of everything lit up is missing. I changed the batteries and same thing. This thing has never been hit, in my pocket or damaged any way. Any body know what's up with it?

 

Are you sure you didn't sit on it? LCD's don't generally go bad like that without some kind of physical damage.

And did you install your CompuStar or did you have it installed?

 

I installed it. I know what I am doing too. I used to work at a shop before I went to school. No I didn't sit on it. I don't even put it in my pocket. I used the clip that came with it. All is good now. The guy I bought it off of is sending me a new one.

And did you install your CompuStar or did you have it installed? </TD></TR></TABLE>Ditto that, I have seen a couple that only half the screen worked, one had been sat on the other was stepped on, [admitted to by customers] both were replaced under warranty, one, [the sat on one] was only a week old, the other, [stepped on] was just over 5 mo. old, there was no physical damage on the outside of either one. Compustar just said replace them and they sent us new ones. 94
