Compustar 2W900FMS install HELP!
Car: 96 Honda DX
Alarm: Compustar 2W900FMS
Problem: programming remote
Basic stuff are done (siren, parking light, e-brake, brake, tach, door, and clutch)
CN1: starter kill relay (yellow, violet, red) goin to 1st main relay, so I splited the starter wire (black/white) and soldered yellow and yellow/black on each end to relay. Ignition(7) have two wires green and red: soldered the green to ignition switch, so what i do with the red? When entering programming mode after the 3rd acc to on, the parking light flash once and 3 sec later flash twice. Can't seem to enter programming mode for the remote.

Two 12+ Constant is done, one powers the unit and the other the relay. The red, I'm talking about is the ignition off the brain. That why i'm confused, why would there be two ignition wires out of the same slot or pin(7) of CN1.

The red lead comming from the ign. output should be going to a "5th relay" that would be used for 2nd ign., acc., or starter, your 96 Civic has a 2nd acc., [white/black] that needs to be powered up, the relay would have the red lead going to it and a thick lead for output, [to white/black] and a thinner lead, "pig tail" that you would connect to CN2/4 white/black, [coincident] (-) acc. output. 94
PS, Is your Compustar an alarm/remote start combo unit, [2W900FM-AS]?
The 2W900FM-S would be just a remote start.

Its a alarm/remote combo. I believe the reason why there are two ignition (input & output) wire in the same pin, when you put key to (acc) green wire powers the red ignition that feed 1st relay (starter kill). Does this sound correct? For the second relay (aka pigtail, blue & violet), according to manual CN1 (3) red/white powers the second relay and the violet goes to CN2 (-) acc output or (-) ignition output, so what does the blue connect to? After reading G2 Racer post, I'm confused like him, bc why would you connect it to the ignition harness which also has 12v.
