I am thinking of buying some components but can't decide. I am pretty poor so i will be getting some low end sets in the $100 dollar range off ebay. I hear good things about polk audio but nothing about the low end ex model. Any input will help. thanks

 

Sounddomain.com has a sale on Crystal 6 1/2 inch components. I got them shipped for 131.00 They sound awsome in my Teg. They retail for alot more, they sound awsome in the car. Definetly got more for my money

yeah my friend got the 3-way crystals, they sound awesome.

 

Infinity Components up front
they are so beautiful for the price, not overly bright like the fosgate fanatics ...
then again, I havn't heard much from car audio (focal mb quartz etc.) but I do home speaker installation quite a bit so I know what sounds good.

dang $100 for components? well I have Infinity Kappa Components and they sound pretty good.. there's better out there.. but at the time I bought them I was still a college student.. so I bought those.. their not bad.... I dunno if you can find any deals on them.. it cost me 200 sumthin... go to a stereo shop and listen to speakers in your range.. bring one of your favorite cds where you know the song well and how it should sound. and listen to the same tracks/songs on all the different speakers u test.. and get the one u think sounds the best...

 

If u really want to hear your music...save up for a while and buy some MB Quart speakers. If unfamiliar, in my oppinion they are the best on the market

 

i get mixed reviews over the mb quarts tweets. i have thought about them also. It is a toss between polk audio & infinity. .....

 

I listened to a set of infinity comps and I was really impressed with how good they sound. They are about 269 canadian and they are the set going in my car One question though I have a 95 honda civic cx and the speakers are 6.5" ...will they fit in the stock location without any mods?
