i have a g4 intelliguard 8000 and i added the port to link the alarm to my laptop. but i upgraded my laptop and i don't think my version of the software (cliffnet wizard v1.2) works with the new version of windows that i have. i used to use win98 but now i have win2000. the troubleshoot says that it will not work with winnt. i tried to run the software when linked to the car and it gave me error code: 2. does anyone have a newer version of the software that can help me?

also, how can i adjust the proximity sensitivity and shock sensitivity?? i went to users and it wasn't there.

also, what is the difference between the user version and the installer's version? wut can the installer's do that the user's can't? where can i find a copy?

the reason why its not working for you is because.. Win2k is based on NT.. They did not come out with a software that supports win2k.. so thats why it's not working.. you either find another laptop with win98, winME then it will work ok.. or install win 98 back on ur laptop.. using 2 operating system .. thats what i did.. i installed 2 OS and when ever i need to use it for work.. (cliffnetwiz) then i juss boot it up with win 98..
