Default Clarion VRX925VD Using Alpine Navigation...

Is it the Alpine NVE-N851V system that is plug and play with the clarion's brain unit...??? Tryna get navi on my non navi system, I kno this works i've seen it several times just didnt have my indash at the time, but now im all set an need navi BADDD...!!!

you need to track down a kce-021n cable to connect that alpine powernav to a non alpine indash. you might also need an external speaker too, depending on the monitor.

see thats what I heard comes with one certain alpine unit is that specific cable that breaches the connection between my unit and the alpine unit... That cable doesnt secure an audio/video connection..?? i thought thats what its purpose was.. Thanks for prompt response..

the kce021n is an extra piece that doesn't come with the nven851/2 box and connects through an av input and has a female 1/8"? jack for the ir sensor. if it's connected to an alpine monitor, it will use that square plug. when i worked at a shop years ago we did one with a panasonic indash and need to connect an extra speaker to get the audio, iirc. we used one of those old alpine center channel speaker setups.

truuuuu......sounds kinda like a little mission lol... are there any other units besides alpines that would work as well..??
