Default Checked everything and bulb still flashes to quick..........

My left blinker flashes too fast. I've checked all bulbs and fuses and still dont know what it is. When I purchased the car the left turnsignal housing would accumulate a puddle of water in it. Could the socket that the 1157 bulb goes into be the route of this headache? thanks hondatechers

Thanks for the overwelming(sp) amount of responses. Just to update the story, I was messing with the bulbs in the back. And i had the hazards on so that i could change the bulbs in them. Well something happened and now the hazards dont even work at all. What gives? And of course the left blinker still doesnt flash normally and it doesnt seem quite as bright as the right side. My teg is so weird. This is OT but it seems like all my problems are on the left side. i got condensation in the front left and right and I've taken them off to reseal them numerous times. Anyways, someone please shed some light or insight.

Usually when the blinker is going to fast one of the filaments in the bulb has burned out. The blinker bulb has a dual filament in there, so I would first try replacing the bulb and go from there.

Thanks Eva01, but I've replaced the bulbs numerous times. The previous owner had glow badges and neons inside and screwed with the electrical system too much. thanks though.

Too high a wattage for the bulbs will also make them flash faster. It sounds like you got the wrong kind of bulbs in there. Make sure you have the right kind of bulbs everywhere. Maybe the guy put an different kind of flasher module also. Emergency blinkers work off the same flash module as the turn blinkers.
Hope that helps. Try to stick with OEM specs with bulbs otherwise you get into weird problems like what you're having.
