Default cdm 7871 install q's

this is what i have




how is this supposed to work? and what else do i need? like are there mounting brackets to this thing or something, cuz i got it locally from this pretty good guy and he said he was cleaning out his garage and this is what he had and he sold it to me as is

i believe ur missing the wire that connect from the player to a harness.

any more help will be appreciated. and i believe that red circled thing is for jumpers to adjust stuff cuz theres a little diagram for it on the unshown side

You're missing the cd players harness, also you need to get a aftermarket harness for your stock harness in order for it to work, check local audio stores.

and the red circles are rca outputs, (for subwoofer and 4channel amps)

that is an after market harness because there used to be a clarion screen in the space before i took it out

and where would it go? because normally wouldnt it go into the back?

and do u kno what kinda mounting brackets i need? and where can i get em?

u would need an alpine sleeve, n the alpine wiring for that deck. i think i mite have one. pm me.

and do u kno what kinda mounting brackets i need? and where can i get em?</TD></TR></TABLE>Can you show a better pix of the plug in the dash, [3rd pix down] that sure looks like an OEM Honda radio plug, if that is so then you will need an Alpine wire harness,[ powers, ground, ant. and amp trigger leads 4 speaker leads and maybe mute and illumination leads] that plugs into the multipin plug you have the red circle around, you will need to get that from Alpine or a dealer, hint, hit up your local Alpine dealers install bays and see if they have one left over from an insurance claim, you will also need a sleave and trim, same place, and if that is an OEM plug in the dash you will need an adpt. harness, [but you may have that already, on the Clarion harness, check. 94

unless the dude that i had take out the deck jizacked my harness as well, im pretty sure its not the oem. cuz i also tried an oem honda deck from a lude that my friend offered to give me for temp but it didnt fit. but i am also an audio noob so for the sake of not making a fool of myself and for the sake of getting this deck into my car asap

here are the pics. sorry my camera sucks so i had to paris hilton them

and thanks for the help guys i appreciate it </TD></TR></TABLE>Yea that looks like a Honda plug, http://www.installdr.com click on quick radio wiring info then Honda / acura, you can remove the two red "T taps" that are on the 12v+ acc.and constant wires behind just the plug, then you can just get the Alpine harness and the Honda adpt. harness, wire then together plug them in and you are good to go. 94

It looks like you're missing the mounting sleeve, the trim ring, and the wiring harness. The thing circled in this pic...



is the plug where the wiring harness plugs in. This harness has the 12v constant, 12v switchable, the ground wire, the power antenna wire, the remote amp turn-on wire, and the speaker outputs if this deck contains an amp.
