Default Cd player acting funny..

This has happen two times already. Thursday morning and this morning also. Cd player keeps spitting out CD at night after I'm done driving and I find my cd out of the cd player. The setting is all returned to it's original setting. Cd player is Kenwood KDC-222. I have a theory, but anyways what it is I think it might be a loose source somewhere? Would you guys agree with me?

You don't have it hooked up right. You need BOTH a constant and switched source of power. Sounds like you only have it hooked up to a switched power source.

It sounds like you have a poor connection on the yellow wire. most cds when you power up the yellow wire the deck will inishilize [wrong spelling] what this means is that no matter what position the cd transport is in it will put it into its unloaded position, and memory is also saved dy yellow wire haveing power on it all the time. By the sounds of it you may have the red and yellow mixed [that is what would happen if you did] hope this helps. 94
