Default CD deck power issue

On days when it is really cold outside my cd deck turns off about 5 seconds after I turn off my car. Anybody heard of this? It is actually kind of cool, but what would be causing this to happen?

A defective diode between the acc. 12V+ and constant 12V+ in the HU itself could cause it, you would need to check the acc wire going to the HU to see if it is still hot when ign. is turned off, if it does test as hot unplug it from the HU and test again, if still hot and HU turns off the problem is in the car, if the HU stays on the problem is in the HU, keep in mind you are only disconnecting the acc. lead. 94
