Default CD-Changer wont connect to headunit

Hi I have a 98 honda civic and I just recently put in my Aiwa headunit but the stock cd-changer cord wont connect into the slot in the back of the headunit. The holes on the headunit are too small or something... Is there any kind of adaptor or something to make it work?

You can probably find a wiring harness to connect them. If you have a good car audio store by you they most likely have one or know where to get one.

doubtful. They make adaptors for certain changers TO your factory radio, such as an alpine changer.. but for the other way.. forget it

As far as I know there are no factory-to-aiwa adaptors out there. I'm pretty sure that there's no way to hook a factory changer to an aiwa head unit.

The FM modulator for the ALpine M-bus changers should work. It won't sound as good, it will be kind of staticky since it's actually going through radio waves instead of directly.

circuit city sells them, im not sure if they sell the one that goes from stock radio to aftermarket changer, or stock changer to aftermarket radio. but there IS a plug out there that connects one way or another

you cant connect a factory changer to an aftermarket hu, but they make adaptors to connect aftermarket changers to factory headunits. even though the alpine and honda changers might conect to each other they are not a direct plug in. the pins are in different locations.
