Are you asking because you are afraid it will skip?

Well depending on the size most people put them in the trunk, glove box, and under seats. I have a CRX so I placed mine in the storage compartment behind the driver and passenger. Start by looking at the brackets you have, how accessible it is, and the work you have to do (running the wires) Good luck

I don't think you can do anything about it, but buying a new changer w/Anti-shock.

Someone please correct me. Good luck

Hey Hondaaccordvtec. how much did the setup cost you?

sp3a12uk - R U asking just about the changer or including the headunit and EQ in the dash? Anyways, the changer cost me around a couple hundred bucks and the install was done by myself. I believe the model # is Alpine CHA-624. My headunit was Alpine flagship HU a few years back - CDA-7949 and then I have Alpine's ERA-G320 EQ set below that.

zzzhondazzz - The material around my changer is made of 1/8" ABS plastic that I cut to fit the interior shape of the glovebox. THe trim ring is made out of plastic "V" channel that I picked up at my local Art & Craft store.

I don't know what your driving but the JDM long console for a 92 - 95 civic is made for a changer. I mounted the guts of a sony 10 disc and made a new cover that only exposes the mag slot and eject button in mine but some of the smaller 6 disc changers just go right in (no modification).
