Default CD Changer HELP

I bought a Clarion DC-625 6 Disc changer to replace my stock one. According to Crutchfield is was a direct replacement.
Now I got in the mail and the Clarion is a 13 pin and my stock one is an 8 pin with a red and white wire also that look like A/V wires.

Is there any adapter I can use?

I'm leaving after this weekend to drive cross country and really pissed right now cause I feel totally screwed over.

Actually it's for a '98 Jetta GLX with Bose.

The only adapter that I can find that seems to be the right size is http://www.crutchfield.com/S-X...PAN97

But that says its for panasonic and the head unit I have to replace it is a Clarion.

I don't remember which is which, but some VW's use a clarion adaptor, and others use a Panasonic, depends on which factory radio you have, I don't remember how to tell the two apart either, I think it has to do with something marked on the cassette door...
