Default Car Fuel Cutoff Switch?

I did a search on Kill Switches and such, went to a few other web sites and read about starter kill switches, but still need an answer... I want to put a fuel pump cutoff switch in my Type R; is it simply a matter of putting a SPST switch inline with the yellow/green wire going to the fuel pump? I'm thinking a potential thief (without a tow truck) won't want to tear apart the back seats, etc. looking for a possible switch, as opposed to getting under/into the dash starter wires he is more familiar with!?.... Every bit helps.
Thanks.

I asked a similar question a little while ago. Haven't done any work on it though, so I can be of more help than what was given to me:
