capacitor problem

Icon2 capacitor problem

I just installed it and i charged it with a 12 watt light bulb and the bulb went out after like 3-5 seconds and capacitor turns on then after a minute it turns weak and then turns off!!!!

When the car is on the capacitor is not!!

Can u guys please help me??

Uh, how do you know?

The capacitor is meant to store a small amount of charge and it discharges very quickly (when the voltage at the other end drops below the voltage of the capacitor).

don't the cap have a remote line to turn the voltage display on.

it's been a long time since I installed a cap but it should have a little screw for you to hook up the remote line for the voltage display.
