Best speaker components? Etc..
What are the best ones out? Any companies to stay away from? Should i go components or should i just buy everything separate?? I'm planning to upgrade my speakers in my gsr. Need some info. thanks a lot guys!
best depends what you're going for and your budget. i'm partial to dynaudio, some like focals, some like diamond. its all unique to your taste.
as for companies to stay away from? see my sig.
go with a component set in the front. skip the rears altogether. not sure what else to suggest.

Hmm, i'm looking for something around $300 or less. I listen to really all kinds of music (rap, hip-hop, r&b, punk rock, techno, dance, etc.), i have a jl audio 12w3v2 and it just doesn't sound good with my speakers. I need a crisper & more sharp sound. Why not upgrade the rear speakers? Do components include tweeters too? Thanks for the info & the link!
before he crashed it, a friend of mine had a full set of boston acoustics through his 95 eclipse. i'm fairly familiar with their stuff, and in my experience, boston acoustics is one of the better, if not one of the best brands out there. unfortunately a good component set will probably take up the better part of that 300 dollars...
good luck!
good luck!
Infinity makes nice components that can be had for 200 or less. Nice clear highs and good midbass. Or you may want to try the Polk, Momo series.

I defiently would recomend Boston Acousitics, I had some in my truck before I got my teg and they were awsome, still have the 5.25 pro's but i am saving up 6.5 pro's for the teg. they are some of the best sounding speakers I have heard. The silk dome tweeters sounded the best to me.
