I have a python 991 alarm and a mobile iq gps unit installed in my car and the backup battery is complete dead. I am going to replace it myself, is it simple as connecting the positive and negative wires? I dont remember if there is two batteries or just one, how are these setups normally wired? I am going to be using a Power-Sonic PS-1212 - UPS battery - 1 x lead acid 1.4 Ah, and will be charging it with a battery tender plus 12v 1.24a before installing it...... any help will be greatly appreciated thanks guys

cool thanks, does anybody know if there's normally one battery or two of them, so I wont be stuck with an extra battery.
