We purchased a used 2011 Crosstour that has some sort of control mounted beneath the dash on the driver's side. It looks somewhat like an alarm but I'm not sure. The place we bought the car from had no idea either. It has a green plastic insert in the front with a green led that blinks.
Any ideas as to what this device is for?
