another! ::remote start:: hard starting problem..
ive had my remote start for a while,,, and its starting to act up every now and then...
if i dont drive the car for like a good few hours,,, it takes atleast 3 turns to crank before it stays on and running (cold days). on warm days it starts runs for like 2 quick seconds and cuts off, does it another 2 times then finally starts!!... but if the cars warmed up and i use it again it starts like nothing is wrong at all... the car came along with the remotestart/alarm and ive checked the brain to look for a model # but no luck at all... i dont know jack about alarm systems, so i was just wondering if a few of you guys can give some advice on what to check/look for before paying a arm and a leg for someone to figure it out.. t.i.a
its on a daily driven 1994 honda accord lx auto by the way, tune up previously done and everything works fine if i start with the key, only remote starts gives me the issues for those cold nyc mornings..

you mean the wire behind the cluster?

[poor connection or problem in brain] you need a multymeter or tachreader, or tach to check it, if the connection is good you will be able to read tach at the brain with the car running with multymeter set to AC ground the neg. probe and connect the pos. probe to the tach wire at the starter brain, AC volts will climb as the cars RPMs go up and drop as RPMs drop. hope this helps.
